Crew is an intimate look at some extraordinary
professional crews from around the world. Crews that face incredible risks and
seemingly insurmountable problems. Crews that work with the very latest
technology, yet the trust and confidence of their co-workers come above all
else.
Using re-enactment, real news footage, radio communication and personal interviews
we’ll set out with a British life-boat crew as they go to the rescue of a
yachtsman in distress. We’ll follow an oil well fire crew as they battle to cap
an out-of-control oil well. Analyse a
formula one Pit Crew as they change four tires in 11 seconds. Watch as a
military emergency bridge construction crew arrives in a flood stricken
village. Track an atomic power station emergency crew as they trace a radiation
leak coming from somewhere within the main reactor core or follow an Earthquake
emergency crew as they prepare to remove individuals from a collapsed building.
We will follow each crew as they accomplish the impossible, and show how individuals
with very different talents can work together as a single entity and for a
